Account
The business workspace in Ledger. Projects, inventory, users, presets, and settings belong to an account.
Budget Category
A spending or revenue category used to organize project budgets and transactions.
Fee
Money owed to or received by the business for services, such as design fees or management fees.
Inventory
Business-owned items that are not currently assigned to a client project.
Invoice
A request for money from a client. An invoice is not the same as a transaction.
Invoice Line
One charge or credit on an invoice. It can come from an item, a transaction, or a manual New Charge.
Item
A physical product tracked in Ledger.
Item Quick Draft
A photo-first capture that can later be converted into a full item or merged with an existing item.
Project
A client engagement or job. Projects contain items, transactions, spaces, notes, finances, invoices, and reports.
Reimbursement
A handoff where the business owes the client or the client owes the business for an expense.
Return
A transaction or movement that sends value back, usually because an item was returned to a vendor or inventory.
Space
A room, location, storage area, or grouping for items.
Transaction
A record that money moved.
Vendor / Source
The business, store, person, or location associated with a transaction or item.
